Came here for lunch after visiting the crocodile farm nearby. Interesting to see that they're growing hydrophonic vegetables in the cafe. The food was good and prices are cheaper than in the city. I particularly enjoyed the rice for the chicken rice.

Truly a labor of love!!! This is a place where the old and the new collide and what a beautiful symphony it is. The owners did the renovation by themselves. As of 30th of July 2018 The hours should be 630am to 600pm from Tuesday to Sunday and closed every Monday. Do follow their Facebook page 老媽人情味 old mum cafe They update their page regularly especially on they new drinks or food. Parking is a bit of a pain since it is in the middle of a busy market and other businesses. I think it's the only place where you can get a bowl of traditional Kolo mee with a cup of 3rd wave style Latte!!! 1st in Siburan to serve nitro brew coffee if I'm not mistaken. They are constantly evolving their menu I heard they are extending their business hrs into night time so their neighborhood would be more lively. I hope this establishment will prosper and keep on improving. I am definitely one of the lifetime patron of this lovely cafe!!! Next to try list for me got to be their waffles and their bobba tea. Was excited to see their nitro brew menu now consists of some tea selection. Good job and god bless you all

Wide variety of local and western cuisines. Kolomee and pork soup was very nice. Ambience is good and premise has AC, which is a plus.

Conveniently located beside the old-style groceries shop Syn Kit Hin, Old Mum Cafe immediately caught my attention. Excitedly, I decided to sample their much-talked-about laksa. Although luck was on my side as there were only two bowls left, unfortunately, the prawn was sold out. Adapting to the situation, we opted for the chicken instead, and it turned out to be a delightful substitution. The chicken was remarkably smooth, adding a velvety touch to the dish. As self-proclaimed connoisseurs of bold flavors, we were not disappointed by Old Mum Cafe's laksa. The soup boasted a savory and slightly salty profile, with a delightful kick of spiciness. It's important to note that this dish caters to those who appreciate stronger tastes, and might not suit those seeking milder flavors. Moreover, the bee hon (rice noodles) in the laksa was pleasantly smooth, further enhancing the overall experience. It comes as no surprise that Old Mum Cafe proudly showcases a banner proclaiming themselves as the "Best Laksa In Town." While the cafe exudes a charming ambiance, I must mention that it is non-air conditioned, which can make it a little warm at times. Additionally, there were some flies buzzing about, which slightly detracted from the overall dining experience. I hope the owner takes note of this issue in order to provide a more comfortable and enjoyable environment for patrons. Overall, Old Mum Cafe is an absolute gem for laksa enthusiasts. Their flavoursome and savory laksa, complemented by the smoothness of the chicken and the delightful bee hon, will leave you craving for more.

Always enjoy the kolok mee when I am in Siburan. Their Nasi Lemak and Chicken Rice are worth trying too. Oh do try their tau suan too, I usually have it as takeaway.

Located along a busy old Siburan shoplot. Nice local cuisine. The interior decoration creates relaxing mood.

We reached there rather late, past 2pm so most of the dishes are sold out except for porkleg rice and kolo mee. I ordered the matcha cheese tea and earl grey cheese tea. It's awesome as it's not sweet at all but with a hint of saltiness. It took some time for it to be served but it's worth the wait. We also ordered a Belgium waffle and a hot matcha with a very nice tea art.

Went to this cafe after our visit to Jong’s crocodile farm! Sadly a lot of the food are not available! Only left with the sambal chicken rice and I ordered that! Surprisingly its good! Sambal was on point too! Price affordable and staffs are friendly! Ordered a couple of the drinks to sit there and chit chat as well! The boss is very friendly! We had a chat and shared with me about last time their cafe is in a different darker design! But now it’s brighter! Happy visit to this cafe! Would like to recommend you guys to go here for breakfast before going to crocodile farm because then you will be able to try more of the food there Eg youtiao, laksa etc!
